    본 연구실에서는 후각 시스템의 다양한 신호 전달 경로를 연구하면서 후각 신호가 인지/감정에 미치는 영향을 연구합니다. 그리고 다양한 원인에 의한 후각기능 상실 기전에 대한 연구를 진행합니다.

  ● 연구주제
- 후각 신경계 다양한 타입의 신경세포군의 확인
- 후각상피 신경활성과 이를 통해 유발된 반응의 확인
   → 후각과 인지 / 후각과 감정간의 직접적 상관관계 연구
- 화학적 물질 외에 후각 신경계의 활성을 유발하는 다양한 환경적 요인 및 관련 메커니즘 연구
- 다양한 원인에 의한 후각기능 상실 원인 규명 및 진단 마커의 확보
- 후각 기능 감퇴와 인지기능 감소 간의 연관성 연구
